Director Gary Thorsky’s version of the Tony Award®‑winning Broadway musical from the creators of “South Pacific” and “The Sound of Music” takes advantage of surprising new twists intended to transport you back to your childhood, along with a few added twists sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Approximately 100 performers, ranging in age from 7 to 18, will perform at the Milton Payton Performing Arts Center — transformed by Artistic Coordinator Tylen Elliott, with set designers Justin Williams & Tucker Arbuthnot, Music Director Eric Rehm, and choreographers Katie & Kelly Colletti, and Bridget DeLaurentis.

“Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella” is the only musical of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s that was written for television with CBS airing the show, starring Julie Andrews in the title role. In 1997 Walt Disney Productions remade the story for television that aired on ABC starring Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother.

This show is sure to delight the young and old alike. Tickets, available online and at the door, are $6 for seniors and students and $8 for adults
